Welcome to the Generations Church Podcast!
What would your life look like if you truly believed that God is in control? Would your attitude change? Would your stress, fear, or worry look different?
Today we’re beginning a new four-week series through the Book of Philippians — a letter written by the Apostle Paul from prison that overflows with joy and confidence in God’s plan.
In this message, we’ll walk through chapter one and discover four powerful truths:
God finishes what He starts
Even hardships serve His purpose
Our confidence is in Christ—not our circumstances, and
We’re called to live worthy of the gospel.
Grab your Bible and let’s dive in together as we’re reminded that no matter what we face, God is in control.

Welcome back to the Generations Church Podcast! Over the past few weeks, we’ve been in a series called Hot Mess — and today, we’re wrapping it up with maybe the most honest message yet: “My Faith Is a Hot Mess.”
Let’s be real — sometimes our faith feels a little all over the place. One day we’re ready to storm the gates of hell with a water pistol, and the next day we’re wondering if God even heard our prayers. We say we trust His timing… but then get frustrated when things don’t happen our way. We sing “I Surrender All” on Sunday, and by Monday, we’ve already taken half of it back.
If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone. The truth is — our faith can be messy because we’re messy. But here’s the good news: God isn’t afraid of our doubts, our questions, or our inconsistency. He meets us right in the middle of the mess and invites us to trust Him again.
So today, we’re going to talk about how to bring order to a messy faith and what it looks like to live out a real, authentic walk with Jesus — not perfect, but genuine.
Let’s jump in to this week’s message: “My Faith Is a Hot Mess.”

Welcome to the Generations Church Podcast — where we believe God meets us in the middle of our mess.
We’re in a powerful series called “Hot Mess,” where we’ve been unpacking what the Bible says about the areas of life that often feel chaotic — our families, our schedules, and today, our work.
Let’s be honest — sometimes our jobs can feel overwhelming, frustrating, or even meaningless. But God’s Word reminds us that our work was never meant to define us — it’s meant to glorify Him.
In today’s message, “My Job is a Hot Mess,” Pastor Jeff helps us discover how to find fulfillment not in what we do, but in who we are in Christ, how to see our work as worship, and how to trust God even when things at work feel unfair or unclear.
So whether you’re driving to work, folding laundry, or taking a break from the daily grind, lean in and be encouraged — because your work still matters to God.

Welcome to the Generations Church Podcast! We’re so glad you’re here.
Let’s be honest — family life can be a hot mess. We love our families, but sometimes things just don’t go the way we hoped. Arguments happen, mistakes are made, and life can feel chaotic and out of control. But here’s the good news: you’re not alone — and your family isn’t beyond hope.
The Bible doesn’t hide from messy families — in fact, it’s full of them. From Cain and Abel to Jacob and Esau, from Joseph’s jealous brothers to King David’s broken household — Scripture shows us that even in dysfunction, God is still at work.
In today’s message, “My Family’s a Hot Mess,” we’re learning that God doesn’t abandon messy families — He steps into the dysfunction, brings healing, and writes His story of redemption through it all.
If you’ve ever felt like your home is chaotic, your relationships are strained, or your family is too far gone, this message will remind you that God’s grace is greater than your mess.
So get ready to open God’s Word and discover practical ways to speak life, show love, and live with forgiveness — even in the middle of the mess. This is “My Family’s a Hot Mess.”

Welcome to the Generations Church Podcast!
You were created by God for something significant—something eternal that truly matters. But maybe you’ve wondered, What exactly am I called to do? What if I miss it? In today’s message, Pastor Jeff reminds us that our calling isn’t first about what we do, but about who we are becoming in Christ.
Through Ephesians 4:1, we’ll discover that every follower of Jesus is uniquely chosen, set apart, and empowered to live a holy life—and that faithfulness today is what leads to a life of lasting impact.
Join us as we dive into this message, “Is God Calling Me?”

Welcome back to the Generations Church podcast! We’re so glad you’re joining us today.
Have you ever noticed how easy it is to fall into the trap of comparison—especially with social media? One moment you’re enjoying life, and the next you’re scrolling, wondering why their house looks nicer, why their kids seem more successful, or why their ministry seems to be growing faster than yours. Before you know it, your joy has been stolen, and you feel like you don’t measure up.
In today’s message, Pastor Jeff reminds us of a powerful truth: comparison is the enemy of calling. God didn’t create you to run someone else’s race—He created you, uniquely and perfectly, to fulfill His purpose for your life. You are His masterpiece, designed with everything you need to do what He has called you to do.
So as you listen, let this be a reminder to take your eyes off of what everyone else is doing and fix them on Jesus, the One who has called you, equipped you, and loves you more than you could ever imagine.

So many of us live frustrated because we don’t understand our purpose. We ask questions like: What’s the point? Why bother? Why do I keep trying when it doesn’t seem to matter? But Scripture reminds us that our lives are not without meaning. In Acts 13:36, Luke writes that David served God’s purpose in his own generation. That’s what we were created for—not to chase our own plans, but to serve God’s purpose right where He has placed us.
In today’s message, Pastor Jeff unpacks four powerful principles of purpose, reminding us that:
Your purpose isn’t for you, it’s for God.
You don’t find your purpose, you serve God’s purpose.
If you want to serve God’s purpose, start serving God’s people.
And your purpose is always for God’s glory.
This is a message to help you stop chasing fulfillment in all the wrong places, and start living out the why behind your life, so you can serve God’s purpose in your generation.
Let’s dive in.

Have you ever found yourself asking, “What’s the point?” Maybe it’s in your marriage, your finances, your health, or even in your faith. You’ve tried to do what’s right, but it feels like nothing changes. You’re exhausted. You wonder, “God, where are You in this? What’s the purpose of all this pain?”
Here’s the truth: people don’t actually hate pain—what we really hate is pain without a purpose. Because the reality is, when there’s a reason, we can endure almost anything. Whether it’s athletes training their bodies, mothers enduring labor to bring new life, or Peter learning through failure—pain can actually be God’s preparation for His greater purpose.
In today’s message, Pastor Jeff unpacks this powerful truth: God never wastes your pain. What feels like breaking may actually be His preparation for a greater purpose in your life.
So if you’ve been walking through trials, if you’ve wondered why life feels so heavy, lean in. Today we’ll discover that there is a reason—and there is purpose in your pain.
Let’s dive in.
