Welcome back to the Generations Church Podcast. Over the last few weeks, we’ve been walking verse by verse through the book of Romans—the clearest and most powerful explanation of the gospel in all of Scripture. We’ve faced the reality of our sin, wrestled with the ongoing battle of the flesh in Romans 7, and been reminded that our rescue is found in Jesus Christ alone. Today, we step into one of the greatest chapters in the entire Bible—Romans chapter 8. If you’ve ever wondered where God is in your suffering… if you’ve questioned His plan… if you’ve struggled with doubt, fear, or the weight of your past… this message is for you. Romans 8 reminds us that there is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus, that God is sovereign over every detail of our lives, and that nothing—absolutely nothing—can separate us from His love. Let’s dive in and be reminded that your story began in the heart of God, is secured by the Son of God, and will end in the glory of God.

Have you ever tried harder… only to realize harder wasn’t enough?
In this message, we start with a powerful rescue story—one man, caught in a current stronger than he was, discovering that effort wasn’t the answer. Rescue was. And in a surprising twist, the most terrifying moment wasn’t drowning—it was surrendering to the one trying to save him.
That story sets the stage for the book of Romans.
Romans doesn’t tell us to swim harder, try better, or clean ourselves up. It tells us the truth: we don’t need motivation—we need rescue. And the good news is that God didn’t shout instructions from heaven. He jumped in. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
In this episode, we’ll walk through the heart of the gospel: our need for rescue, God’s initiating love, salvation by grace through faith—not works—and the freedom we now have in Christ. If you’ve ever felt exhausted from trying to earn God’s approval or wondered if real freedom from sin is possible, this message is for you.
This is the story of a God who did for us what we could never do for ourselves—and invites us into a new life of freedom, righteousness, and hope.

What is the gospel—and why does it matter so much? In this message, Pastor Jeff launches a new 5-week series through the book of Romans by giving a big-picture overview of Paul’s most theologically rich letter. Romans isn’t meant to intimidate us; it’s meant to ground us. At its core, it clearly explains how sinful people are made right with a holy God through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Starting in Romans 1, we explore why Paul was unashamed of the gospel, who the gospel is really for, and why it is so desperately needed. This sermon walks honestly and courageously through hard truths about sin, God’s wrath, idolatry, and humanity’s rejection of God—while never losing sight of grace, mercy, and hope. Key themes include: * The gospel is for **everyone** * Why sin is humanity’s greatest problem * How God has clearly revealed Himself * The consequences of rejecting God’s truth * The incredible cost of our salvation * The hope of forgiveness and grace through Jesus Christ This is a weighty but necessary message that sets the foundation for understanding the rest of Romans—and for seeing just how powerful, personal, and life-changing the gospel truly is. If you’ve ever wondered *why* we need salvation, *what* the gospel really means, or *whether* grace can reach anyone—this message is for you.

Welcome to the Generations Church Podcast. A new year brings fresh goals, renewed motivation, and a sense of possibility—but what if the fresh start you’re longing for goes deeper than a reset or a resolution? In this message, A Fresh Start With God, we’re reminded that God specializes in new beginnings. Through Isaiah 43 and 2 Corinthians 5, we discover how God invites us to let go of what’s behind, recognize the new work He’s already doing, and step forward in faith into the future He’s prepared. Whether you’re coming out of a difficult season or simply longing for renewal, this message is a reminder that a fresh start isn’t just possible—it’s promised.

Welcome back to the Generations Church podcast. Today we begin our Christmas series, “Finding Peace.”
It’s funny how quickly we shift from Thanksgiving gratitude to Christmas chaos. One minute we’re saying, “I’m so thankful for everything I have,” and the next we’re fighting for Black Friday deals like our lives depend on it. As kids, we thought the perfect gift would make us happy. As adults, our lists just changed—If I could fix this… if I could get that… if life would slow down…
But underneath all of it, we’re really longing for one thing: peace. Not the kind that fades, but the kind only God can give.
Today, Pastor Jeff shows us that real peace isn’t found in the absence of problems but in the presence of God—and that Christmas is God’s declaration that peace is possible, even now.
Here’s Week 1: “Is Peace Even Possible?”

Welcome back to the Generations Church Podcast. Today we wrap up our series through the book of Philippians. Over the past few weeks, Paul has reminded us that God is in control, called us to live with humility like Jesus, and challenged us to treasure Christ above everything else.
And now in Philippians 4, Paul brings these themes together in one of the most practical and encouraging chapters in the New Testament. He gives us real tools for everyday life—how to stand firm, how to pray instead of worry, how to think rightly, and how to find true contentment in Christ.
Let’s dive in as we finish this incredible journey through Philippians.

Monday Nov 17, 2025

Today, we step into Philippians chapter 3, where the Apostle Paul challenges us to reconsider what really matters. He teaches us that true righteousness, true joy, and true purpose aren’t found in our achievements, our performance, or anything we can boast about — but in knowing Christ, sharing in His sufferings, and pressing toward the eternal prize that awaits us.
If you’ve ever wrestled with letting go of old identities…If you’ve ever struggled to find joy beyond your circumstances…Or if you know what it feels like to chase fulfillment in all the wrong places…
This message is for you.
So grab your Bible, open your heart, and let’s dive into Philippians chapter 3 together.

Welcome back to the Generations Church Podcast! We’re so glad you’re tuning in today as we continue our journey through the book of Philippians.
Last week, we looked at chapter one and asked, “What would it look like to live knowing that God is in control?”We discovered that when we truly believe God is sovereign, our attitudes shift, our worries shrink, and our joy isn’t tied to what’s happening around us — but to the One who reigns over all.
This week, in Philippians chapter two, Pastor Jeff challenges us to move from what we believe about God’s control to how we should live under it.It’s a practical, powerful look at what it means to live with the heart of a servant — to walk in humility, to seek unity through selflessness, and to reflect the character of Christ in everything we do.
The big idea today is this:To live worthy of the gospel, we must adopt the humility, obedience, and servant-heart of Christ.
Let’s dive into Philippians chapter two together with this week’s message — “Learning How to Live as a Servant.”
